Martex Accelerator TD is a crosslinking resin which will improve the adhesion of Martex
Fixative NSF to synthetic fabrics thus giving improved wash fastness and generally uplifting fastness
to wet and dry abrasion. In the first instance evaluate at a level of 0,5 to 1,0 % on weight of print
paste.After addition of Martex Accelerator TD high speed mix the print paste to ensure uniform distribution
throughout the print paste. When Martex Accelerator TD is added to the print paste it is advisable
to check that the print paste is alkaline. If required add 1% of ammonia to keep the ph of the print
paste above 7. Under alkaline conditions the print paste containing Martex Accelerator TD will remain
stable for several weeks.
Martex Softener SN
Martex Softener SN is a silicone based softener which reduces surface friction and effectively softens
the printed area with minimum effect on fastness properties. Martex Softener SN should be evaluated
at 1.0% on the weight of the print paste. A brief high speed mixing will ensure a homogenous print paste
prior to mixing.
